Midas was born in April 2024 in a litter of 12 puppies, he is one of 6 correct boys. It was not easy to decide which one to keep but in the end, it was Midas who felt the most like ours. He spent most of his time right next to me or in my lap. And whenever his dam – my beloved Nubia – felt like playing with her puppies, she would single out Midas most often. Also, Midas is very handsome and very sweet too!

I always tell my dogs that they are made of pure gold, and since the name Nubia (Midas’ dam) means gold, Midas needed a “golden” name too. Naming him after the legend of King Midas with the golden touch was spot on.
Midas is a typical Rhodesian Ridgeback – a luxurious creature who loves soft beds, the warmth of the sun, having his belly scratched, digging holes, chewing everything and all the good food. Nubia and I are very proud of this wonderful golden puppy with the softest ears and the most gentle eyes.
